Managment Company for CHA Suspended After Boy’s Family Files Wrongful Death Law Suit

The Chicago Housing Authority suspended its contract with Urban Property Advisors’ at the Cabrini-Green Rowhouses two weeks after a three-year old boy was killed when an old, rusted gate crushed him. The family of the boy has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against against UPA, stating that it was at fault for the accident. In a recent statment, the father of the deceased boy said that he was happy that CHA had suspended its contract with the neglegent management firm.
