Each time that a driver gets behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, that driver is accepting responsibility for the safety of every other individual on the road. Though accidents can and do happen, if it is a driver’s negligent behavior or careless actions that lead to the personal injury or wrongful death of another party, that driver must be held accountable. Personal injuries suffered as a result of car accidents and other motor vehicle accidents can be severe and life altering. People can suffer brain injuries, nerve damage, spinal cord paralysis, broken or dislocated bone or limb, and even loss of the use of a limb. Fortunately, in the recent bus tour accident, the injured individuals had only minor injuries.
