Jury finds Company Negligent in Landslide Case

The jury has found a ranching management company to have been negligent in a case brought forth by victims of a landslide. The complaint alleges that the company built improper drainage systems and that this in connection to the heavy rains the area was experiencing led to the landslide and loss of lives and homes. The lawsuit alleged wrongful death and personal and property damage. While the jury did find that the company was negligent, they found that the county and the manager of the company were not negligent.
